Released: 12-14-99

I. Description/Objective:

Rogue is alot like BoulderDash, by Jimmy Mardell, if you have ever played that game.
Rogue was originally for MS-DOS, it was one of those great games that could run on 640k, and provide hours of good clean fun. The game includes a 24x16 map, in which you have to get from one end to an exit on the other side. Along the way you will encounter many obstacles, such as invisible walls (which you get to see briefly at the beginning of each level), and the seemingly ubiquitious enemies. You arent without help however... You may find a trusty pickaxe or a teleport scroll to help you on your journey, and remember that these items carry over between levels, so get as many as possible. Obviously you die if the enemy hits you, so avoid them. But to really understand, you have to play the game.

II. INSTALLATION (easy as 1,2,3)

1) Make sure you have the Correct shell installed on your calculator
2) Send ROGUE.83P to your Ti-83(or 83+)
3) Run AShell,SOS, or ION then select "Rogue Runner v1.0 by HM" and hit F1

IV.TIPS:

try to move around slowly if you have pickaxes, so you dont accidentaly knock down a wall. Also, the enemies are predictable so dont work too hard to avoid them. and only use teleport scrolls if you have to... ie. if you are about to die or stuck on the other side of a wall.

V. SPECIAL THANKS To (in no particular order):

Sam Heald - a great guy and a pretty damn good coder
